| The UN Information Centre (UNIC) held “Finding UN Information and Documentation” workshop for some 20 post-graduate students of international finance from the Islamic Azad University-Science and Research Branch at the UN building on 24 December 2017. The workshop was conducted by the UNIC Reference Assistant Ms. Nazanin Ghaemmaghami-Farahani. Students learned about some basic facts about the UN, and how to find and retrieve UN information on the UNIC, and the UN websites as well as Dag Hammarskjold Library (DHL) page on the web. |

The UN Information Centre (UNIC) held “Finding UN Information and Documentation” workshop for some 20 post-graduate students of international finance from the Islamic Azad University-Science and Research Branch at the UN building on 24 December 2017.
The workshop was conducted by the UNIC Reference Assistant Ms. Nazanin Ghaemmaghami-Farahani. Students learned about some basic facts about the UN, and how to find and retrieve UN information on the UNIC, and the UN websites as well as Dag Hammarskjold Library (DHL) page on the web. Overview and searching through the websites of United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), The World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF)and World Trade Organization were discussed.

Persian copies of UN Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the UN System Chart were distributed among the participants.
Professor Reza Fazel, who organized the programme found the workshop very useful and said he will also bring his international law students to participate in the next coming workshop.
