| IOM Organizes Migration, Development Capacity Building Workshop for Iranian Officials |

TEHRAN, 25 September 2013 (UNIC) – International Organization for Migration (IOM), in collaboration with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will organize a two-day workshop on “Enhancing Institutional Knowledge of Migration and Development Issues” in Shiraz capital of the Fars Province on 2-3 October 2013. The aim of the workshop, which will be attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Interior, will be to enhance participants’ understanding of how to mainstream migration into development planning.
