| IOM Organizes Migration, Development Training For Iranian Officials |

TEHRAN, 17 October 2012 (UNIC) – International Organization for Migration (IOM), in collaboration with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will organize a two-day workshop on “Enhancing Institutional Knowledge of Migration and Development Issues” in Ramsar City, in the Mazandaran Province on 22-23 October 2012. The aim of the workshop, which will be attended by officials from the Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs, as well as immigration police officers, will be to enhance participants’ understanding of how to mainstream migration into development planning.
